Piggies In Busan (And Proudly So!)

Hi friends and family!

Just Carmen here now, because I am a piggy and one of our friends here is too… so we went on a food hunt in Busan 🙂 While the others were recovering in the hostel and we decided we wanted to experience a very important part of culture aka food! 😀

We went for Twin pork soup (SSandungi Dwaeji Gukbap) which is apparently very popular in Busan, and after tasting we can understand why. It really was very delicious, even though we had some questionable guys sitting at the table next to us… who were trying to have conversations with us about some very weird topics… seriously they were strange.  But that didn’t deter us from enjoying this fantastic food 🙂 . In short it is a soup with hearty pork bits and rice, it’s rare to find it in Seoul and definitely a specialty dish of Busan! Henceforth why we had to try this….

Before that we just had some street food, and afterwards we obviously had some desert (ice cream at Baskin’ Robins… )

Yeah.. We’re piggies and proud! 😀

Lots of love,

Carmen
